In this video, we’re going to be covering how to add a download button in WordPress.
This will enable us to offer downloadable content to our visitors with a simple click of a button.
We can use these buttons for PDFs, images, word documents, videos or anything else we might want to offer as a download.

Worth Noting: The button “styling” will depend on the theme we are using, so yours might look different than the one shown in my example.

Written Steps:

1. Hover over “Media” on the left and click “Add New”.
2. Click “Select Files” in the middle.
3. Find the file on our computer, click on it and click “Open” to upload it.
4. Open up the page or post we want to add the button to (in the editor).
5. Take a new line where we want the button to appear.
6. Click the plus (+) symbol to the right.
7. Search for (and add) the “File” block.
8. Click “Media Library” on the File block.
9. Click on the file we just uploaded and click “Select” in the bottom right.
10. Delete the file name (it links to the actual file).
11. Change the button text.
12. Update the page or post to save our changes.
13. Give this video a like on YouTube (optional).
